Due to the unprecedented disruption from the coronavirus pandemic, admission to the MS Medicine Program has been canceled for the 2020-2021 Academic Year. We hope to resume the program for 2021-2022
The Master of Medicine (MSM) program is a master’s degree program that provides Ph.D. candidates serious exposure to clinical medicine with a view to fostering translational research
The goal of the MSM program is to train a new generation of Ph.D. students about human biology and disease and thus better prepare them to translate new scientific discoveries into useful medical advances
The MSM program admits an elite group of highly talented people who have a serious commitment to translational research but are not interested in becoming clinicians

(Note: A three-year bachelor’s degree in any subject is not considered sufficient for graduate study at Stanford. The two-year master’s degree following the three-year bachelor’s degree from India is required.)
