Bachelors | No specific cutoff mentioned
- To be eligible for admission, applicants must have earned, or be in the process of earning, a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, physics, or a comparable science program
- A three-year bachelor’s degree in any subject is not considered sufficient for graduate study at Stanford. The two-year master’s degree following the three-year bachelor’s degree from India is required
- Students whose undergraduate backgrounds are entirely devoid of some of the major subject disciplines of engineering (for example, applied mechanics, applied thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, ordinary differential equations) may need to take some undergraduate courses to fill obvious gaps and prepare themselves to take graduate courses in these areas
