  • The Civil Engineering Graduate Program offers several areas of study for those interested in pursuing an advanced degree in civil or environmental engineering
  • Students pursuing an MS degree in CE will be assigned a faculty member advisor in their area of interest. The advisor will serve as a research mentor and also assist in the selection of courses to complete the required coursework

  • An applicant must have a baccalaureate degree with at least a B average (preferably in engineering, though other fields may be accepted) from a recognized college or university

  • Undergraduate courses that may be required to remedy deficiencies must be taken without credit
  • GRE is not required for the 2020-2021 academic year
    • Students may submit scores if feel they enhance their application, but there is no penalty for not submitting them
  • There are no set minimum scores to apply to the Graduate School of Engineering and Applied Science
  • It is rare that the university offers admission to an applicant who scored less than 22 on the Speaking section of TOEFL
