- Applicants must have s four-year undergraduate degree in accounting or business with an emphasis in accounting from a regionally accredited institution, including successful completion of the following pre-requisite courses or their equivalents
- A grade of C or higher must be earned in all coursework and coursework must have been taken within the last 10 years
- Successful applicants will generally have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, particularly in their upper-division classes and accounting coursework
- Applicants must have studied the following courses:-
- Intermediate Accounting I
- Intermediate Accounting II
- Cost Accounting
- Individual Income Tax
- Auditing
- Plus three (3) additional hours of upper-division accounting
- Applicants are expected to be proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- If Applicants are deficient in any of these skills, it is their responsibility to mitigate the deficiency before enrolling in the program
- Applicants who do not have an undergraduate background in accounting or business can still pursue careers in accounting and licensure as a CPA through the Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in accounting

GRE/GMAT Waiver:-
- Applicants earned an advanced degree (equivalent to a U.S. master's or higher) from a regionally accredited institution with 3.0 GPA or higher, OR
- Applicants with Five (5) or more years of full-time meaningful professional work experience and/or military service with increasing levels of responsibility AND an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher from a regionally accredited institution, OR
- Applicants with ten (10) or more years of full-time meaningful professional work experience and/or military service with increasing levels of responsibility AND an undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or higher from a regionally accredited institution
- A $125 fee is required and one letter of reference from a supervisor who can verify your work experience and scope of responsibility is encouraged
- Applicants might also have to provide an official evaluation from any NACES evaluation company that shows their masters is equivalent to a U.S. master's degree from a regionally accredited institution
