  • Applicants must have either:
    • Bachelor of Engineering degree with a 65 percent average, or equivalent qualification
    • Bachelor's degree in a non-Engineering discipline with a 65 percent average, with studies equivalent to 48 credit points (equivalent to 1-year full-time study load) in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geology, computing, or statistics, as related to the stream sought for admission
  • If applicants have the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree with a 65 percent average in an unrelated specialization, or a Bachelor of Science or similar (in a related discipline), they may be eligible for a Reduced Volume of Learning (RVL) of up to 24 credit points or 1 semester
  • If applicants have a postgraduate engineering degree with a 65 percent average in a related specialization, they may be eligible for RVL of up to 72 credit points or 1.5 years
