The Master of Professional Engineering (Fluids) is a 3-year full-time course delivering technical and professional outcomes that will allow the students to be recognised as an Australian graduate engineer in this field
The fluids specialisation will teach the applicants about fluid mechanics and engineering systems associated with the fluid environment
Areas of study in the course include water resources management, wind engineering for design, environmental geotechnics, and open channel flow and hydraulic structures
Candidates will also complete a 12-week industrial placement, which will provide them with the opportunity to participate in a major project in an industrial environment
This degree will also help the students to develop the sound communication, management and decision-making capabilities necessary to interpret and discuss complex issues in their area of specialisation

Bachelors	69.0% Applicants must have either: Bachelor of Engineering degree with a 65 percent average, or equivalent qualification Bachelor's degree in a non-Engineering discipline with a 65 percent average, with studies equivalent to 48 credit points (equivalent to 1-year full-time study load) in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geology, computing, or statistics, as related to the stream sought for admission If applicants have the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree with a 65 percent average in an unrelated specialization, or a Bachelor of Science or similar (in a related discipline), they may be eligible for a Reduced Volume of Learning (RVL) of up to 24 credit points or 1 semester If applicants have a postgraduate engineering degree with a 65 percent average in a related specialization, they may be eligible for RVL of up to 72 credit points or 1.5 years
