The Master of Nursing (MN) program at Dalhousie provides graduate students with the opportunity to learn practical skills and participate in research that makes a global impact
Graduate education in nursing embodies a search for knowledge and encourages the examination of ideas and values
Graduate education prepares students who will have an advanced level of academic and clinical preparation and who will be leaders in advancing professional practice, health-related knowledge, research uptake, and system change
MN students can choose from one of two program options:
- Nurse practitioner
- Professional stream

Bachelors	3.3 GPA Applicants must have a 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum "B+" standing (3.3-grade point average) Undergraduate-level classes in research, and statistics, completed within 5 years of beginning the program
Exams	TOEFL: 92 IELTS: 7 PTE: 65 With no score below 54
Additional info	Official academic transcripts and degree certificates are required for each post-secondary institution attended Applicants must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse (active practitioner) in a province in Canada or in a foreign country A resume Statement of career goals 3 letters of reference: Two letters of academic reference (e.g., former professor or a thesis supervisor); and one letter of professional reference e.g. current employer) A personal interview with the Associate Director of Graduate Studies, School of Nursing, or their designate(s) is required Applicants for the Nurse Practitioner option must have completed a minimum of the equivalent of 2 years full-time clinical experience at the time of application
