  • The Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship will provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop ideas into sustainable business opportunities and to foster innovation in their workplace
  • Students will learn how to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset, experiment with design thinking, and learn to use tools and techniques to convert their ideas into reality
  • Throughout the degree, the academics will equip students with knowledge in innovative leadership, financial skills for entrepreneurs, how to navigate the complexities of innovation and entrepreneurship, business innovation planning, and creating and marketing new products
  • Students will understand how to raise capital and gain detailed knowledge of the complexities of initiating, developing, managing, and exploiting innovation
  • The Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship will allow students to explore the potential exploitation of their own business idea
  • Students will learn to evaluate opportunities from a range of perspectives, including financial, technical, and legal, as well as gain a thorough understanding of the processes associated with the development and marketing of a new product in today’s complex environment

  • Applicants must hold a recognized bachelor's degree with an equivalent average mark of 50%, or a UOW Graduate Certificate in Business; or Graduate Certificate in Innovation Entrepreneurship
  • Other tertiary qualifications combined with extensive professional work experience will be considered

  • With a minimum score of 18 in Reading & Writing and 17 in Listening & Speaking

IELTS: 6.5
  • With a minimum score of 6 in each skill

PTE: 62
  • With a minimum score of 54 in each skill

Additional info
  • Students who have a bachelor's degree in Business or Commerce related area will be granted fewer core subjects
  • Due to the current impacts of COVID-19 on in-person testing centers, UOW is accepting Alternative English tests for entry into Autumn 2021 and Trimester 1 2021. The requirements for accepting these tests are:
    • If standard testing is available in the applicant's country, applicants must use one of these tests
    • If the standard tests are not available (or only partially available) in the applicant's country due to COVID-19 restrictions, UOW will accept
      • Online IELTS Indicator or
      • Online TOEFL IBT at Home
    • If neither the IELTS Indicator nor TOEFL at Home is available in the applicant's country, the applicant can use Duolingo. See notes regarding Duolingo the use of Duolingo
