Bachelors	65.0% Applicants must have a four-year Bachelor's Degree or a Master's degree with a First Class/Division 1 (65%) or Very Good (8 on a 10-point scale) At the minimum,applicant must hold the academic equivalent of a four-year bachelor’s degree from UBC or similar university with a minimum B+ (76% or 3.30 GPA at UBC) average Applicants with degree in computer science and statistics is preferred, but not mandatory Must have studied: one course in programming one course in probability and/or statistics one course in calculus or one course in linear algebra. Completion of a course in both calculus and linear algebra is recommended Applicants who do not meet the above requirement can also be considered on the recommendation of the Program Director if they have other significant formal training, relevant professional experience, and/or otherwise possess demonstrable knowledge or expertise that would prepare them adequately for successful study in this program
