  • Calculus and physics are highly recommended prior to entering the MArch program but are no prerequisites for admission

Additional info
  • The Master of Architecture program welcomes applicants with any four-year Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree
  • Applicants with a previous architecture degree are eligible for advanced-placement
  • GRE SCORES: Given the uncertain prospect of universally accessible, reliable, and equitable GRE testing in the next admission year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the School of Architecture has suspended the GRE requirement for the 2021 admission cycle
    • Applicants will not report GRE scores on the application, nor will be admitted students be required to submit official GRE scores

    • Transcripts not in English must be translated to English and include all courses, grades, degrees, and dates of degrees received
    • Applicants must also submit an explanation of the grading scale used and the equivalent to a U.S. 4.0-scale
    • Applicants are strongly encouraged to upload a NACES member course-by-course credential evaluation to satisfy the above requirements
  • Resume or curriculum vitae
    • It should highlight the student's past education, work experiences, honors and awards, key research and creative works (including exhibitions, competitions, collaborative projects, residencies, volunteer or community-based work), educational or work-related travel opportunities, and leadership positions
  • Short response

  • Three (3) recommendations are required, at least 2 of which should be from former professors if students have received the undergraduate degree (or graduate if applicable) within the last five years
    • References from current or former employers are also encouraged
