- The Master of Applied Computer Science (MACS) program prepares the students for a dynamic career in the software industry by developing strong technical skills with core courses in systems, communications, and data management
- Students apply what they’ve learned in class in either a paid industry internship, an entrepreneurship work term, or a research project with one of the stream options:
- Internship stream: Gain technical experience in the context of an industry work placement. To complete this stream, students will complete 3 required courses, 6 elective courses, and 1 4-8 month internship work term
- Entrepreneurship stream: Learn the technical and business knowledge needed to create their own business. To complete this stream, students will complete 5 required courses (including 2 business courses), 4 elective courses, and one 4-8 month entrepreneurship work term
- Project stream: Gain the technical know-how as students complete a research project within an established research lab. To complete this stream, students will complete 3 required courses, 5 elective courses, and research project and presentation
