The Applied Biosciences program awards a Professional Science Masters degree that is designed to prepare students to enter a competitive, scientific workforce.
The Applied Biosciences program consists of foundational and practical training in various areas of applied biosciences and along with a professional component that includes internships and “cross-training” in workplace skills, such as business, communications, and regulatory affairs.
During the two-year course of study, students will gain a strong understanding of the applications of the biological sciences to real-world problems, including those faced by public institutions and private industry.
It is available with the following concentrations: Controlled Environmental Agriculture, Diagnostic Laboratory Sciences, Industrial Microbial Biotechnology, Medical Microbiology & Immunology, Medical and Diagnostic Laboratory Sciences, Molecular and Cellular Biology and Sustainable Bioeconomy and Bioenergy

Bachelors	3.0 GPA Students who wish to apply in Applied Biosciences must have the following minimum qualifications: A Bachelors (or equivalent) degree with a major in an area of biosciences from an accredited institution A minimum of 3.0 GPA Applicants from India must hold: 4 years of accredited bachelor, 3 year accredited bachelor + master; 3 year accredited bachelor + post-grad diploma; or 3 year bachelor by itself provided the degree is at least 120 credits
Exams	TOEFL: 79 IELTS: 7 With no subject area below a 6 PTE: 60
