- Accounting is often called the “language of business” because it provides the information necessary for making business decisions in many types of organizations
- The Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree program supports the mission of Northern Kentucky University to educate students to be productive citizens, to prepare them for success in careers and occupations
- Following four concentrations are available:-
- Professional concentration:- This concentration is for those who have an undergraduate accounting degree and are seeking a public accounting career
- Accounting Practice and Reporting concentration:- This concentration meets the needs of students who do not have an undergraduate degree in accounting but who wish to pursue a career in accounting
- Expedited MAcc concentration:- This concentration will enable students to begin working towards their MAcc degree as undergraduates
- Data Analytics/Data Visualization concentration:- This is similar to the Professional concentration while also giving students the chance to have a focus on the data analytics/visualization areas
