  • Architecture at Dundee primarily aims to educate resourceful and adaptable architects who are able to respond creatively and responsibly to the demands of a complex and changing profession
  • The first three years (part 1) are designed to build basic knowledge and skills in Design, Communications, Architectural History/Theory and Sustainable Technology
  • Each year culminates in a major integrated design project which draws these parallel threads together
  • The final two years (part 2) offer more opportunities to choose a programme of study which suits student’s emerging interests as a maturing designer
  • Students at part 2 also have the opportunity to choose MArch with Urban Planning – this route leads to qualification as a chartered town planner as well as a registered architect

  • Students must have good results (60% overall) in the CBSE, ISC or leading state board XII Standard exams

  • Minimum 6.0 in writing component and minimum 5.5 in the other three components

  • At least 56 in all four skills

  • ELP Waiver-
    • A student scoring 70% or more in English in class XII from CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and CISCE (Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations) and the following State Boards: Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Assam, Goa, Tamil Nadu) are exempted from giving English Language Examination
    • A student scoring 80% or more in English in class XII from State Boards: Gujarat, Kerala, Andhra, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Telangana) are exempted from giving English Language Examination
