This course offers a cross-disciplinary insight into the role and function of media in contemporary society, examining how we can all survive in the current media environment
It focuses on the centrality of modern media forms and practices in our daily communication, and how they facilitate and constrain the way we communicate with each other
This Media and Communication MA is designed to provide a critical overview and survey of today’s media landscape and media environments
The coursework is a mixture of academic research and media practice, allowing students to build a wholesome professional portfolio of media projects

Bachelors	55.0% Applicants are normally expected to have: 2:2 or a second class degree or above (or equivalent) in a related subject in the humanities or social sciences; and/or comparable professional or research experience

These should clearly show the qualification awarded and the final overall grade/mark. If they are not in English, copies translated into English by an authorized translator is required A personal statement of at least 500 words which should outline your reasons for applying for the course ELP requirement may be waived for applicants who have passed 12th English with a minimum of 70% Two references, at least one of which should be an academic reference (eg a college/university tutor or course director).
