Master’s program in mathematics aims toward generating career options for our students in industry, government, or teaching at the community college level
Students participate in mathematical research in the primary areas of analysis, algebra, applied mathematics and geometry/topology
Area seminars inform faculty and students on current advancements in mathematics. Mathematical training is balanced with faculty mentoring
Students can also opt for MA Focus in Applied and Interdisciplinary Mathematics which will of 36 credits program and may be completed in either two (2) years (at 9 credits per semester) or in one (1) year (at 15 credits per semester, plus three (3) winter session credits and three (3) internship credits internship to be completed during the summer)
