  • This course is a Masters’s conversion course specifically designed for those who do not already have a degree in computing. If students have already studied computer science or a related subject to degree level, they may wish to consider the MSc Computer Science or MSc Cyber Security courses
  • Students will be introduced to advanced information and technology practices and systems, expanding their knowledge in areas such as software development, computer networks, website development, and cybersecurity. They will be prepared to put their new skills into practice confidently, with a focus on programming, networking, hardware, and analysis throughout the course
  • With IT professionals in high demand across the UK and worldwide, whatever the current situation, this course is flexible enough to meet students’ needs. They will learn to evaluate solutions to a range of computing challenges
  • The course is also offered in January, the duration would then change from 12 to 15 months

  • A First Degree, with Honours in a non-computer science-related discipline and at a minimum final classification of Lower Second (2:2). Some basic computer literacy is expected
  • If the applicant is applying to any postgraduate course they must hold one of the following:
    • 3-year Bachelors or 4 years Bachelor Engineering or Technology, minimum division 2 (50% - 59%) in relevant subjects
    • a recognized pre-Masters course
ExamsIELTS: 6.5
  • Overall 6.5 in IELTS with nothing lower than 5.5 in any of the four elements (listening, speaking, reading and writing)

PTE: 61
  • PTE with 61 overall and a minimum of 51 in all components
