  • Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field from an ABET-accredited U.S. program with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • If applicants do not meet the minimum 3.00 GPA, their application can be considered for admission if they:
    • earned an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher for your last 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits

    OR

    • worked in the program-specific profession for 5+ years 
    • obtained a letter of support from a faculty member in the department 
    • written a detailed statement/essay describing the applicant's professional experience and potential to succeed academically
