  • The ideal candidate for the master’s program in Electrical Engineering will hold a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution and demonstrate proficiency in chemistry, physics, and mathematics
  • If applicants undergraduate degree is not in Electrical Engineering, they will be required to complete background courses to remove deficiencies before beginning the graduate program
  • Applicants must have a minimum overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00-grade scale equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree
  • If applicants do not meet the minimum 3.00 GPA, their application can be considered for admission if they:
    • earned an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher for your last 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits

    OR

    • worked in the program-specific profession for 5+ years 
    • obtained a letter of support from a faculty member in the department 
    • written a detailed statement/essay describing the applicant's professional experience and potential to succeed academically
