M.Eng Mining Engineering

M.Eng Mining engineering is offered by The Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining at Queen’s, designed to produce engineers and specialists qualified to assess, design and operate both underground and open pit mines
It takes eight (8) term length courses for completion, out of which two of the courses can be at the 400 undergraduate level
It has specializations like Mineral Planning & Design of mechanical systems, Mineral Processing, Reliability, Maintenance & Risk Assessment
Students shall be required to complete training on the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), through the online course in Accessible Customer Service, as part of their graduate degree program, prior to being approved for graduation
