Illinois Tech’s Master of Power Engineering program provides students with applicable and theoretical knowledge in power electronics through study in the areas of power electronics, electric power, motor drives, electric machines, renewable energy technologies, and sustainable energy systems
Course-only degree program prepares students for professional practice in power engineering through rigorous coursework in advanced computer technologies, communications, electronics, and control and signal processing
A student may demonstrate proficiency by successfully completing the courses or by demonstrating satisfactory performance in one or more special examinations administered by the ECE department

Additional info	During the admission process, Illinois Tech waives TOEFL or IELTS requirements if the applicants: first or native language is English have received a degree from an English-speaking institution and have attended that school for at least two years school’s official medium of instruction is in English, per transcripts
