  • Applicant must hold have completed high school with a good grade
  • Typical offers for CBSE and CISCE range from 80% (equivalent to ABB at A-level) to 90% (equivalent to A*AA at A-level)
ExamsIELTS: 7
  • With 7.0 in writing and 6.5 in all other skills

PTE: 67
  • With 71 in writing and 64 in all other skills

  • All applicants must sit the National Admissions Test for Law (LNAT) before the relevant deadline. Details are available on the LNAT Website. Please refer to the Admissions Statement below for further information about LNAT
  • The English language requirement may be waived off if:
    • The applicant has 80% in English in India (CISCE and CBSE) Standard XII 
  • CBSE or CISCE English at 70-80% or above can be accepted in lieu of another English test such as IELTS
  • Applicants are not routinely interviewed for this course. In exceptional circumstances where an interview is deemed necessary, it will be conducted by at least two people, at least one of whom has been trained in fair and effective recruitment techniques and undertaken in accordance with the University’s policy on equal opportunities

LNAT Exam:

  • Overseas applicants who apply through UCAS before the UCAS mid-January deadline must take LNAT before 30 April to avoid their application to Bristol being made unsuccessful by default by UCAS
  • Overseas applicants applying through UCAS after the UCAS mid-January deadline must take LNAT before the final deadline of 31 July. This is a deadline set by LNAT and no exceptions can be made

  • Evidence of analytical thinking, communication skills, and independent thinking
  • Evidence of the ability to face challenges, academic stamina, and commitment to tasks
