  • The LLM in LegalTech puts students at the forefront of a fast-growing field, opening up exciting career opportunities to harness the power of technology in the legal profession
  • This innovative and topical master’s programme will give students the skills to understand and embrace this new tech, to innovate, and to put ‘LegalTech’ into practice
  • Students will explore how technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain impact legal services
  • Students will also have the opportunity to work with AI systems, to develop LegalTech apps and solutions, to become comfortable working with Big Data, and to understand the legal and regulatory challenges associated with technology
  • Students will also learn through:
    • Guest lectures by expert practitioners in LegalTech;
    • Workplace learning through voluntary work and/or placements;
    • Involvement in collaborative research projects with research partners;
    • Engagement with the School’s Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Law (CIEL)
  • Students will also discover how Artificial Intelligence is applied to the law and how the law is applied to AI

  • A 2:1 degree in law although candidates with a 2:2 based on their overall and individual module performance will also be considered
  • Marks Required:-
    • 2:1 degree equivalent to 70%; or CGPA 7.8 (10 point system); or CGPA 6 (7 point system); or CGPA 3.33 (4 point system)
    • 65% or CGPA 7.2 (10 point system); or CGPA 5.5 (7 point system); or CGPA 3.2 (4 point system
    • 2:2 degree equivalent to 60%; or CGPA 6.7 (10 point system); or CGPA 5 (7 point system); or CGPA 3 (4 point system)
    • (55% or CGPA 6.1 (10 point system); or CGPA 4.5 (7 point system); or CGPA 2.67 (4 point system)

  • Applicants with 75% marks in English in 12th from Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) from (CBSE) or Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) from (CISCE); or Indian School Certificate (ISC) from (CISCE) can fulfill ELP requirement
  • Applicants must show that they have also studied their Bachelor degree in English
  • A letter confirming the Medium of Instruction is required from their University, unless it clearly states on the marks sheets/transcripts that all teaching has been conducted in English
