- This course will give students in-depth knowledge and understanding of the core concepts, theories, practices and techniques of international business alongside a thorough grounding in accounting and finance
- Students will focus on topical issues in international business and how organisations design and implement international business strategy, together with specialist subjects in banking and finance
- Students will also acquire the knowledge, analytical and interpersonal skills needed to understand and manage complex organisations across national borders, especially in international trade, foreign direct investment, and accounting and finance principles and techniques
- A range of optional modules will allow students to shape their degree to suit their own career plans and interests
- Year 1 gives students a firm grounding in key areas of international business and finance through compulsory modules
- In the following year students will learn more about research methods in international business and go into more depth on the challenges and strategies related to managing across cultures and international boundaries
- Students will cover modules like Introduction to Finance, Academic and Professional Development for Studies in International Business, Principles of International Business, Global Entrepreneurship, Introductory Financial Accounting, etc.
