Bioinformatics is the application of information technology to the field of molecular biology
As a student skilled in Bioinformatics, students will be at the forefront of this newly emerging field which has a widespread impact on the way we approach important global issues and topics including healthcare and sustainability
In order to remain in the program, students must maintain at least an overall B average in the Core Courses taken in the program

Class 12th	70% Applicants must have passed 12th with one of the following certificates with marks equivalent to 70% from Canadian board: State Higher Secondary Certificate awarded by a State Board of Higher Secondary Education or; India and Delhi Senior School Certificate by CBSE or; ISC awarded by CISCE Subjects required: English, Biology, Chemistry, Math
Exams	TOEFL: 80 With no component score less than 19 IELTS: 6.5 With no individual score less than 6.0 PTE: 58 With no component score less than 50
Additional info	Applicants can be waived from English Language requirement who can verify having recently studied in an English language school system for more than three (3) full years of full-time study, will be required to present proof of English language proficiency
