    • Central Texas Angel Network, a network of high net worth individuals focusing on seed-stage investment and entrepreneur mentorship

Additional info
  • Full-time work experience is calculated up until the time of enrollment (the start of classes)
  • This encompasses all work completed since the bachelor’s degree, including teaching, military service, and government experience (ex: the Peace Corps)
  • Other types of experience can be explained fully in the application essays
  • English Language Proficiency scores may be waived if applicants have completed their degree entirely in English

UPDATE–TEST SCORE WAIVERS FOR APPLICANTS

  • If students have not been able to take the GMAT, GRE, EA, or TOEFL exams due to the following reasons related to COVID-19, the department is  providing the opportunity to petition for a special test score exception
  • Students who meet both of the criteria below have the opportunity to petition for a special test waiver:
    • Students are unable to take an exam in-person at a designated testing center due to lack of availability in their region, or because they or someone in their household is immunocompromised, AND
    • Students are unable to take an exam online due to lack of availability in their region, technology, or other test-taking requirements (e.g. device availability or compatibility, slow internet connection, testing environment)
  • The COVID-19 test waiver is NOT available to applicants who have already sent official GMAT, GRE, EA, TOEFL, or IELTS scores to Texas McCombs. Once an official score has been sent to Texas McCombs, it becomes a part of their submitted application record and cannot be removed
  • Admissions interviews will remain invite-only, but all interviews will be conducted virtually for all MBA programs until further notice
