  • This professionally relevant course has been designed to meet the needs of the financial services sector
  • Graduates will gain an in-depth knowledge of the core finance principles alongside a practical understanding of how theory informs professional practice, in preparation for a career in wholesale financial services and/or postgraduate studies in finance or related disciplines
  • The BSc Hons Financial and Investment Management has been designed to meet the needs of the financial services sector
  • Year 1 is introductory and is focused on the acquisition and development of personal skills recognized as foundation skills. In this induction period, Students will complete a study skills module designed to equip them with the necessary key communication skills, soft skills, and learning strategies to enhance their learning and employability
  • Building on year 1, at year 2 students will develop the ability to work effectively in teams. Students will be involved in the analysis of more complex operational issues and will continue to develop their IT skills in respect of online financial databases, for example, Bloomberg and other software essential for employment in the finance and investment environment
  • After successful completion of year 2, students will have the option to complete a placement year in a financial services environment. In final year, modules build on core themes to give them an appreciation of the contemporary issues relevant to finance and investment management

  • Applicants should hold a high school degree in all Indian Standard XII (Central Boards or a State Board) with 60% overall to include 60% in at least 5 subjects)
  • Required subjects: English, Maths

  • With min. of 51 in each part

  • Applicants with 70% in English, in the Standard Xll examinations from the following boards: CBSE, CISCE (central boards), Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka(State boards) can fulfill the English Language Proficiency requirements
