  • This joint honours degree gives students in-depth understanding of economic issues in business, society and public life whilst asking important questions about how we see and understand the world
  • Students will explore economic theory and approaches through core modules, and learn how to think clearly and construct effective arguments
  • Students will also learn about logic, ethics, the mind and reality as well as macro and microeconomics
  • Students will spend their first year studying core modules that introduce them to key principles, approaches and methods in each subject, such as economic theory, history and logic
  • Students will also gain the mathematical grounding they need for economic study and choose from optional modules on topics like philosophy of religion, science or the mind
  • Over the next two years, students build on their knowledge base with core modules in microeconomics and macroeconomics, and also theoretical philosophy (encompassing logic, language, knowledge, and reality)
  • Students will study modules like Economics and Global History, Economic Theory and Applications, How to Think Clearly and Argue Well, Introduction to Academic Skills, etc.

Class 12th60%
  • Applicants must have passed class 12th Standard with 60-85% overall average, including 75-90% in two relevant subjects
  • Required subject includes:- Mathematics

  • With no less than 6.0 in any component

PTE: 60
  • With no less than 56 in any component

Additional info
  • Applicants with a 70-75% in English in 12th depending on state board can fulfill English language proficiency
