The Programme is built around a combination of Data Science programs offered separately by both UCL and UniSA. Modules delivered by UCL for the Programme focus on theory, whilst the UniSA modules are comparatively more practical
  • The aim of this program is to produce graduates with the analytic and technical skills to effectively use Python, Hadoop, R and SAS to analyze Big Data and extract useful information to support the management and operations of an organization
  • Taught by leading researchers in data science, students will learn to analyze and visualize rich data sources, spot data trends and to generate data-driven insights

  • A minimum of an upper second-class Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline from a recognized UK university or a non-UK qualification of an equivalent standard in a relevant discipline typically in the fields of mathematics or computer science or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum overall CGPA of 7.75/10, 6.25/8.0, 5.75/7.0, 4.25/6.0, 3.3/4.0, or 60% where a GPA scale is not used
  • Students should be comfortable with a high level of programming in a language such as Python
