- The Civil Engineering with Transport course gives students a firm grounding in civil engineering, with a deeper focus on areas of transport engineering, planning and modelling as they progress
- Students will study all the major subjects they need to master as a civil engineer, such as structures, fluids, geotechnics, materials, environmental impact, surveying and mathematics
- Optional modules will allow students to tailor the course to suit their interests and career plans, with topics such as railway engineering and environmental health engineering
- In the first two years, students will build skills in structural design and analysis as well as engineering mathematics and modelling techniques, and learn about the properties of a wide range of materials
- Core modules in Year 2 and 3 will help students to enhance and refine their skills in civil and transport engineering, as well as transport planning and modelling
- Students will study modules like Traffic Network Modelling, Integrated Design Project 4, Individual Research Project 2, etc.
