Civil Engineering undergraduate course covers the main disciplines of structures, geotechnics, plus both water and transportation engineering
The degree is designed to give students the knowledge and skills required to become a Chartered Civil Engineer
Provide a thorough grounding in principles of sustainability, an understanding of approaches to minimize environmental impact, and the means of estimating such impacts
Students gain comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the concepts, principles, and theories of specialist technical issues, as selected by the student to meet their professional aspirations
The program aims to produce high-quality graduates with the understanding, knowledge, skills and personal qualities required to undertake a wide range of careers across the construction industry in building, general contracting, consultancy or advanced research

Class 12th	70% Applicants are required to have 70% overall in year 12 state board high school examinations and at least 70% in the relevant subjects Applicants taking the West Bengal State board examinations are required to have 65% Subjects required: Mathematics
Exams	IELTS: 6 with no component lower than 5.5 or equivalent PTE: 50
Additional info	Most programmes operate an informal interview with students A telephonic interview may be possible for those who are unable to attend in person ELP will be waived for students whose previous studies were in English (Any qualifications presented as evidence of English ability must be less than 2 years old)
