- This degree will allow students to explore mathematics, statistics, economics, and psychology within a management context
- Students will develop knowledge and understanding of how their mathematical and statistical skills can be applied in the world of business
- This course will allow students to appreciate the synergies between quantitative techniques and management theory, which will give them an edge in understanding the mathematical representation of business situations and the evaluation of evidence within complex organisational systems
- Students will develop advanced knowledge of the major branches of mathematics and management, studying topics as diverse as business ethics and computational mathematics
- This course offers students the opportunity to spend a year working in industry or studying at a university abroad, both of which provide valuable experience and help their personal development. Both of these schemes add an additional year to their course, taking the total course length to 4 years
- Year 1: On the management side, students will learn about key ideas from economics and human behaviour in organisations, while in mathematics they will study core topics, including calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, probability and statistics and financial mathematics
- Year 2: The management aspect of your course will encompass modules in marketing, anthropology for business and organisational behaviour in practice, while in mathematics, students will develop their knowledge of statistics and have the option to explore financial mathematics, computational mathematics, analysis and more
- Year 3: Students will undertake either a management dissertation or a project within mathematics
