BSc(Hons) Product Design Technology

Level	Bachelors Program

BSc (Hons) Product Design Technology will give students the creativity, skills and confidence to take exciting concepts and transform them into real, working products
Students will learn how to design great products on a friendly and creative course with tutors who are highly experienced professional designers
Student will work on design briefs for a range of industry clients. Past organisations have included Jaguar Land Rover, Dremel Bosch, Omlet and Virgin Marussia Formula 1
Students will gain advanced skills in concept sketching, making working prototypes, engineering analysis, computer-aided design (CAD), design for manufacture and beyond
Most of the graduates go into product development roles for design consultancies, or join in-house design teams for manufacturers and major brands

Class 12th	65% A-level subjects: A2 in one of the following subjects: Art, Biology, Chemistry, Computing/Computer Science, Design and Technology, Electronics, Engineering, ICT, Maths/Further Maths, Music Technology, Physics, Product Design, Statistics INDIA: Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate (standard XII) from the following boards CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB with 65% including grade C in at least five subjects Students with lower grades may be considered for entry onto a foundation degree Applicants who have standard IIX from other state boards should contact the International Development Office for further information
Exams	IELTS: 6 A minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component PTE: 50 Overall score of 50 with at least 51 in each component (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking)
Additional info	Score of 70% and above in English in Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB boards can fulfill English language requirement
