BSc (Hons) Physical Geography

This degree is suitable for students, know their main academic interest lies in the field of Physical Geography
It covers themes including plate tectonics and global geophysics, glacial environments and processes and global environmental change
Students will have the opportunity to undertake overseas field courses in places such as Malaysian Borneo, Austria, Mallorca and Vancouver
Students will be taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, and discussion groups, supported by practical classes and field courses
Students will also have the opportunity to develop their essential transferable skills, such as team working, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Class 12th	70% Candidates are expected to have achieved 70% Year XII including Standard XII in English - 70% or above (or equivalent) Subjects required:- Geography or a related subject (for example, Sociology or World Development; Geology or Environmental Science; or an additional Science subject)
Exams	IELTS: 6 With a minimum of 5.5 in each component PTE: 56 With no component less than 51
Additional info	ELP requirement may be waived if, applicants have passed Class 12th English with a minimum score of 70% marks from one of the following board CBSE/CICSE/SSCE All applications will be considered on an individual basis, and the university will look at the whole application when deciding whether to make an offer of a place, including: the balance, nature and quality of A-level, AS and GCSE subjects (or equivalent); personal statement and referee’s comments
