The study of genetics is an exciting and fast-moving field that is making an enormous impact in a range of scientific areas, including the understanding and treatment of diseases, pharmaceutical development, evolution, and the conservation of biodiversity.
The degree will give students an in-depth knowledge of these fundamental building blocks of all life on earth
Students will learn techniques for analysing gene expression, protein interactions, DNA structure and damage, image analysis of biomolecules and cells, and advanced computer analytical methods.
Students will also develop excellent analytical and project management skills and learn how to design experiments and plan work programmes

Class 12th	70% Candidates are expected to have achieved 70% Year XII including Standard XII in English - 70% or above (or equivalent) Subjects required:- Biology essential, plus at least one other science (usually Chemistry)
Exams	IELTS: 6 With a minimum of 5.5 in each component PTE: 56 With no component less than 51
Additional info	ELP requirement may be waived if, applicants have passed Class 12th English with a minimum score of 70% marks from one of the following board CBSE/CICSE/SSCE
