- Students will develop a solid foundation of knowledge in the various disciplines of biomedical sciences including immunology, haematology, cell biology, human physiology, genetics, microbiology and pharmacology
- Students will learn how to communicate academically and how to utilise best scientific practice as well
- At the end of the first year, students can choose to continue their multidisciplinary studies in biomedical sciences or they can choose to study for a combined degree award by specialising in one of four specific pathways offered by university
- Graduates may pursue a career as Biomedical Scientist, Biochemist, Microbiologist etc.
