This Microbiology course will introduce students to the microbial world, and teach them the skills to grow and identify microbes and explore their role in the environment, health, and in food safety and production
This course will focus primarily on bacteria although students will also investigate fungi, viruses, archaea and other microbes
Students will develop their understanding of microbes, beginning with cell structure, function, and microbial evolution

Class 12th	65% Applicants must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate (Standard XII) from the following boards CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB, with 65%, including grade C in at least five subjects Subjects required: Biology, Human Biology, Environmental Science, or Social Biology preferred
Exams	IELTS: 5.5 With a minimum score of IELTS 5.5 in each element PTE: Accepted With a minimum of 51 in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing
Additional info	ELP waiver: Where HSC is older than five years, we will consider the application HSC another piece of evidence, such as evidence of working in an English language environment or similar Where the applicant has achieved 65% or higher in English in HSC (all state boards) if those results are within the previous 5 years
