Our BEng Honours programmes are four years long and flexible in structure (see sample curriculum overleaf). There is also a possibility of direct second year entry for qualified students
In first year students will study a general course in informatics that includes programming, logic, the theory of computation, and the nature of information processing
In the second year students will have specific informatics courses that lay the foundations of Software
The School of Informatics has many links with industry, stemming from its research work

Class 12th	80% All India (SSC, HSSC) or awarded by other state boards. University requires the Award of Certificate with five subjects at Class XII, with an overall average of 80% or above and 80% in all required subjects, or 85% where we require a grade A at SQA Higher/GCE A level Applicants must have efficiency in Mathematics
Exams	IELTS: 6.5 With 5.5 in each component PTE: 61 With at least 51 in each Communicative Skills section
Additional info	Applicants with 75% in English at 12th standard may get ELP waiver
