Entry Criteria

Class 12th55%
  • Applicants must have passed 12th with 55% marks from West Bengal, 70% marks from Bihar and 60% marks from Other boards
  • Commerce track students must have taken Mathematics in Standards XI and XII to be eligible to apply
  • Science track students must meet the following high school course preparation requirements: 
    • 4 years of native language
    • 3 years of mathematics
    • 3 years of science (including one year each of two of the following: biology, chemistry, or physics) (Although Commerce students will not have met the requirement in laboratory sciences, they will be considered for admission on the condition that they take a chemistry or physics course at Iowa State in their first year of study)
