  • The applicant should be a high school graduate or be scheduled to graduate before enrolling at IUPUI
  • For admission to the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, the student must have completed:
    • Core 40 or equivalent coursework (8 semesters of mathematics including pre-calculus, 6 semesters of science, with labs, including a year of chemistry. 6 semesters of social science, 4 semesters of additional college prep courses selected from mathematics, English, science, foreign language, and social sciences) with a minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Completion or enrollment in pre-calculus and chemistry
  • Applicants must demonstrate a "B" average or above-average grades, with strong grades in math and science

SAT: Accepted
  • The SAT scores can be exempted if students complete the following requirement:
    • Enrolled in math during all four years of high school
    • Enrolled in pre-calculus or calculus in the senior year
    • Grades of B or higher in junior year math and beyond. Senior year math courses will be reviewed and considered, if available at the time of admission review

  • Students with TOEFL scores of 60-94 or IELTS 5.5-6.5 are eligible for admission but should take the English for Academic Purposes placement test
