The program develops graduates who are prepared to use core engineering to solve real-world problems of human health
The undergraduate curriculum includes core engineering and biomedical courses coupled with courses in a specialty area chosen by the student
Students will gain practical experience in the required biomedical engineering I and II laboratories
Students will also learn within faculty research laboratories on campus, as well as at the many local medical facilities within walking distance
Upon graduation, the students are actively sought out by national and international biomedical companies for employment, as well as by top medical and graduate admissions committees
Students will study courses like Introduction to Biomedical Engineering, Principles of Chemistry for Engineers, Calculus for Science and Engineering I, Chemistry of Materials, etc.
