The Bachelor of Science (Honours) Chemistry program offered by the Department of Chemistry provides an in-depth introduction to all the sub-disciplines of chemistry
The first year course in Chemistry is a survey of modern chemistry covering molecular structure, bonding, phases of matter, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, equilibrium, kinetics, polymers, organic and biochemistry with extensive lab participation
In the fourth year of curriculum, students gain hands on experience with research as they complete a research project
Provides excellent preparation for graduate work in chemistry, employment in industry, and employment in government labs

Class 12th	75% Applicants must have passed Standard XII (All Indian Senior School Certificate/Indian School Certificate/Higher Secondary Certificate) with a minimum average of 75% Prerequisites required : English Mathematics (Calculus and Vectors) and Two of Biology, Chemistry or Physics at the Standard XII Level
Exams	TOEFL: 88 24 Writing, 22 Speaking, 22 Reading, 20 Listening IELTS: 6.5 with no band below 6.0 PTE: 60
Additional info	Applicants who attended an education institution full-time where the medium of instruction is English for the most recent three years are exempted from providing english language proficiency scores
