The Faculty of Engineering at Lakehead University – Thunder Bay offers a uniquely designed four-year Bachelor of Engineering Degree program in Civil Engineering, with a Co-op/Internship option available
As a civil engineer, students will be involved in the planning, design, construction, and rehabilitation of engineering projects including as buildings, airports, highways, dams and power, water supply, bridges, and industrial facilities
Students will tackle design and research work in highway geometrics and transportation systems, high-performance concretes, environmental issues, watershed analysis, foundations, and slope stability projects

Class 12th	70% Applicants must have passed 12th with one of the following certificates with marks equivalent to 70% from Canadian board: State Higher Secondary Certificate awarded by a State Board of Higher Secondary Education or; India and Delhi Senior School Certificate by CBSE or; ISC awarded by CISCE Subjects required: English, Chemistry, Math with a Minimum Grade of 60% (Canadian Equivalent), and Physics In addition to the above requirements, Calculus and Vectors is strongly recommended
Exams	TOEFL: 80 With no component score less than 19 IELTS: 6.5 With no individual score less than 6.0 PTE: 58 With no component score less than 50
Additional info	Applicants can be waived from English Language requirement who can verify having recently studied in an English language school system for more than three (3) full years of full-time study, will be required to present proof of English language proficiency
