  • Students will also undertake a final-year capstone subject that lets them apply everything they have learned in collaboration with students from other disciplines. Plus, they have the option of applying for an internship to gain valuable experience whilst receiving credit towards their degree
  • Topics include financial reporting, auditing, management accounting, and information systems in accounting. Students will learn about financial accounting in its organizational, social, and political contexts as well as study relevant law subjects (including taxation law and law of business organizations) to be eligible for associate membership of professional accounting bodies

  • In order to succeed in their chosen course, it is assumed they have completed relevant subjects in their senior high school studies or other relevant qualifications
    • This is particularly important for degrees that have a strong basis in Mathematics or Science

Due to the current impacts of COVID-19 on in-person testing centers, UOW is accepting Alternative English tests for entry into Autumn 2021 and Trimester 1 2021. The requirements for accepting these tests are:

  • If standard testing is available in the applicant's country, applicants must use one of these tests
  • If the standard tests are not available (or only partially available) in the applicant's country due to COVID-19 restrictions, UOW will accept
    • Online IELTS Indicator or
    • Online TOEFL IBT at Home
