Entry Criteria

Class 12th65%
  • Applicants must have completed high school with a minimum score of 65%
  • Applicants must have also studied English and Maths as compulsory subjects and must have scored 55% in each subject
  • For May 2019 start date:
    • Admission to Year 1: 55% in each of Grade 12 English or Math, three additional 30 level courses, courses at a 30-3, 30-4, or any other 35levelsl will not be considered
    • An overall minimum average of 65% in the five required high school courses
    • NAIT Diploma Graduate (Admission to Year 3): Completion of a Business Administration diploma program with a minimum GPA of 2.0
    • External Diploma Graduate (Admission to Year 3): Completion of a Business Administration diploma program with a minimum GPA of 2.3
  • For the September 2019 start date:
    • High School Applicant: (for applicants who have completed less than 24 post-secondary credits)
      • Minimum 55% in Grade 12 English, Pure Math 30, three additional 30 level courses
      • Courses at a 30-3, 30-4, or any other 35 levels will not be considered
      • An overall minimum average of 65% in the five required high school courses
    • External Post-Secondary Applicant: (for applicants who have completed a minimum of 24 post-secondary credits and their most recent minimum 24 credits were completed outside of NAIT)

      • Completion of minimum 24 post-secondary credits with an Admission GPA (based on the most recent minimum 24 credits) of 2.3*
      • NAIT Post-Secondary Applicant: (for applicants who have completed a minimum of 24 post-secondary credits and their most recent minimum 24 credits were completed in a credit program at NAIT)
      • Completion of minimum 24 post-secondary credits with an Admission GPA (based on the most recent minimum 24 credits) of 2.0
    • Corequisites must be taken together in the same semester, with a minimum mark of 70% (B-) in each course will satisfy admission requirements for the program

  • Applicants must submit official transcripts from the last institutions attended
  • Post-secondary study permit (must be valid until after the start of class), or
  • Applicants post-secondary study permit that will expire before the start of class and a screenshot of their IRCC Portal showing that they have submitted an application for a study permit extension, or
  • Letter Of Introduction or Letter Of Approval issued by IRCC (the letter of introduction the visa office sent the applicant when they approved their study permit - this letter has the permit reference number which IRCC uses to issue the applicant's study permit), or
  • Verification of Status document 
  • Applicants secondary study permit and a screenshot of their IRCC Portal showing that they have applied for a post-secondary study permit
