  • Selection will be competitive based on the pre-selection kit or folio and interview
  • For Semester 1 intake:
    • Must have passed 12th which is equivalent to a Australian Year 12
    • Pre selection kit requirement will be exempt if applicants hold any of the below requirement:
      • RMIT Foundation Studies program (Art, Design and Architecture stream)
      • an Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) or Diploma of Drafting/Building Design
      • a minimum of one year tertiary study in a design discipline e.g. architecture, interior design, industrial design, landscape architecture, graphic design, art or fashion design
  • For Semester 2 intake:
    • successfully completed the RMIT Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) with a grade point average (GPA) of 4 (80-100/HD) achieved in the final year followed by an interview OR;
    • completed a minimum of one year tertiary study in a design discipline e.g. architecture, interior design, industrial design, landscape architecture, graphic design, art or fashion design followed by a folio, CV, statement and a interview

  • With a minimum of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing

IELTS: 6.5
  • With no individual band below 6.0

PTE: 58
  • With no communication band less than 50

Additional info
  • If applicant does not want to fulfil the requirement of pre selection kit, then they need to submit folio, CV and letter outlining their reason for applying which demonstrate students breadth of talent in design
