This program leverages the powerful resources of Duquesne University in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Security Studies to meet the needs of students and of society at large
This program will teach students to:
- How to evaluate the cyber-security needs of an organization
- How to assess and develop risk management policies in order to protect well the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of an organization’s information and assets
- How to support and secure information and assets as needed to support an organization’s mission
- How to research, learn, and apply new cyber-security technology in order to keep skills current
- How to apply these skills in a professional manner, including documenting their work, communicating clearly and appropriately, and following appropriate ethical and professional standards of conduct

Additional info	English language test scores are not required for admission to undergraduate programs, but strongly encouraged The application is evaluated based on the applicant's academic performance in his/her educational system at home, and not his/her English ability. This system allows the applicant to be accepted to a degree program even if he/she needs English support before beginning a full-time academic study Students without TOEFL or IELTS scores are tested on campus with Accuplacer exam and Writing Sample and are then placed into appropriate coursework upon completion
