Students will have the opportunity to work alongside amazing faculty and fellow students, conduct hands-on research, and build the foundation for an exciting science career
Students will have access to the best instrumentation while studying chemistry at Duquesne. From X-ray diffractometers to mass spectrometers to supercomputers, they will work hands-on with sophisticated technology to make their ideas come alive

Class 12th	No specific cutoff mentioned Applicants must have graduated from a secondary school recognized as an acceptable equivalent to a U.S. high school and they must demonstrate a record of acceptable academic success In general, applicants are expected to obtain the U.S. equivalent of a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA)

Additional info	English language test scores are not required for admission to undergraduate programs, but strongly encouraged The application is evaluated based on the applicant's academic performance in his/her educational system at home, and not his/her English ability. This system allows the applicant to be accepted to a degree program even if he/she needs English support before beginning a full-time academic study Students without TOEFL or IELTS scores are tested on campus with Accuplacer exam and Writing Sample and are then placed into appropriate coursework upon completion
