    • Introduction to Programming I: Introduction to Computer Programming I, is designed for beginning programmers who have no prior programming experience
      • CPSC 100 Introduction to Programming 1 will also be helpful to students who have programmed before and wish to learn about the C programming language
      • ANSI-C is the low-level/high-level language that will be used to learn basic programming constructs, algorithms, program design, and good programming practices
      • Students will develop and test small programs which loop, make decisions, access arrays, define classes, instantiate objects, and invoke methods
    • Introduction to Programming II:
      • This course is a continuation of CPSC 100 with emphasis on more advanced programming techniques and design, development and test of large applications
      • Students will write programs that make use of library functions to display graphical user interfaces, manage collections of data, access files, and databases, and interact with other programs. 
        Prerequisites: CPSC 100 with a grade of “C” or better
