  • The Architectural Engineering course is truly interdisciplinary, designed to produce engineers who can design buildings by integrating the principles and practice of architecture, building physics and structural engineering
  • The course integrates creative and technical knowledge in architecture, structural and building services engineering, all delivered within one School
  • Architectural Engineering students attend a residential surveying field course in Year 1 – this is a compulsory part of the architectural engineering programme – there are no additional fees to pay for this field course
  • In Year 2 students will consolidate their technical knowledge of structural design and analysis, materials, water engineering, geotechnics and building physics
  • Students will also enhance their engineering knowledge in structures, geotechnics, materials and building physics and demonstrate an integrated understanding of creative and technical building design in their 3rd year design studio work (typically a multi-storey office building design)
  • Students will study courses like Architectural History and Theory 4, Management, Practice, and Law, Building Physics 3, Design Studio 4.1, Design Studio 4.2, etc.

Entry Criteria

Class 12th60%
  • Applicants need to have Indian Standard XII qualification with 60-85% overall average, including 75-90% in two relevant subjects
  • Required subjects include:- Mathematics

  • with no less than 5.5 in each section

PTE: 60
  • with no less than 56 in any component

Additional info
  • Applicants with 70-75% marks in Standard XII in English depending on state board can fulfil English language requirement
